Welcome to Beijing!
北京欢迎您!
With the arrival of the summer vacation and new adjustments
to exit and entry policies, Beijing's ports have seen a
significant increase in passenger traffic. As of June 26, 2024,
the number of visits made by inbound and outbound passengers
through Beijing's ports has reached 8 million, 2.9 times that
of the same period last year.
In June, the daily combined number of the entries and exits
recorded at Beijing's ports was about 50,000 on average.
On June 23, the number exceeded 60,000, peaking at 62,000
in a single day. This sets a new daily record for this year, accounting
for 85 percent of the average daily volume in 2019.
To further optimize Beijing's foreign-related business
environment and make application processes of visas
and other relevant documents more convenient for foreigners,
the Exit-Entry Administration Department of Beijing Municipal
Public Security Bureau has opened new service centers in
Mentougou District, Fangshan District, Pinggu District, and
Miyun District respectively on June 27. With these additions,
the total number of the locations for foreigners to apply
